PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND CLARIFICATION TEXT
INTRODUCTION AND DEFINITIONS
This Clarification Text has been prepared by Anax Pictures (“Company” or “Data Controller”), operating at anaxpictures.com, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), to inform our valued users/members about our principles regarding the processing, protection, and transfer of personal data.
“Personal Data” refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
“Data Controller” refers to the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and methods of processing personal data.
In accordance with the KVKK and relevant legislation, we adhere to the following principles when processing personal data: compliance with the law and the rule of honesty; accuracy and up-to-dateness; processing for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes; relevance, limitation, and proportionality to the purpose of processing; and retention for the period required by relevant legislation or for the purpose for which they are processed.

User Activity/Internet Traffic/Website Usage Information: IP address, log records, browser and device details, behavioral data regarding website usage (cookie data), and technical data provided via services powered by Google (e.g., Gmail, Google Forms, Google Analytics).
Purposes of Processing
Service Provision: Improving the services provided, evaluating performance, storing email and contact records, compiling statistics, and providing services such as mailing.
Payment and Billing: Issuing invoices and collecting payments for paid services.
Legal Obligations: Fulfilling accounting and tax obligations arising from legislation, responding to official authority requests.
Communication and Support: Handling requests, complaints, and suggestions; providing information, announcements, and campaigns; conducting commercial communications with explicit consent.
Website Security and Improvement: Analyzing usage, improving performance, and detecting fraud or abuse.
Personal data may be processed in whole or in part, by automated or non-automated means, through activities such as collecting, recording, storing, retaining, modifying, rearranging, and transferring.
Non-personal statistical data may be shared with Company employees or service providers such as contracted consultants.
Member information may be disclosed to official authorities only when required by binding provisions of applicable legislation and only upon proper formal request.
By accepting this Clarification Text, the member also acknowledges that they have read and understood the Company’s “Privacy Policy” and “Clarification Text.”
METHODS OF COLLECTION AND LEGAL BASES
Your personal data may be collected via automatic methods (cookies), electronic forms, customer service communications, email, or similar channels when you register on our site, purchase online training, or visit the website.
Legal bases for processing may include:
Explicitly stipulated by law (KVKK Art. 5/2-a),
Establishment or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c),
Fulfillment of a legal obligation (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç),

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be transferred to service providers, business partners, affiliates, and group companies located within Turkey or abroad for purposes such as service delivery, system hosting and backup, technical support, customer relations, marketing activities, communication, and reporting.
International transfers are conducted in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK, either based on your explicit consent or if the recipient country provides adequate protection, or through commitments and standard contractual clauses approved by the Personal Data Protection Board.
All necessary administrative and technical measures are taken to ensure data security during transfers, and utmost care is shown to protect data subject rights.
RETENTION PERIODS
Your personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of processing and in accordance with statutory retention periods.
Once the retention period expires, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
DATA SECURITY
As the Data Controller, we implement technical and administrative measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of personal data. These measures include SSL certificates, access restrictions, encryption methods, regular security scans, and data masking practices.
Despite all precautions, if personal data is compromised due to cyber-attacks targeting our site or servers, necessary administrative and legal actions will be promptly taken. The Company shall not be held liable for any data breach or unauthorized access resulting from such attacks, despite having taken the necessary information security measures.
YOUR RIGHTS
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, data subjects may apply to the Company to:
Learn whether their personal data is being processed,
Request information if their data has been processed,
Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in line with this purpose,
Learn the third parties to whom the data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
Request correction if the data is incomplete or incorrect,
Request deletion or destruction of data within the scope of KVKK,
Request notification of correction or deletion to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
Object to a decision made solely through automated systems that produces results against them,
Request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing.
